Is the Heart of the US as Evil Today as it was in the Days of Martin Luther King Jr?

Well let’s have a look at what things were like back when Martin Luther King Jr (MLKJ) was around before he was killed by racist America.
Slavery in the UK was abolished in 1833 but the US had too much money tied up in slavery and it took until 1865 and a civil war that killed 600,000 people before the US was willing to abolish slavery. It then still took another 100 years of struggle until the times of MLKJ for African Americans to have the same rights as their white neighbours.

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. Martin Luther King Jnr.

So we see that in the times of MLKJ the US heart was largely evil. But is it any better today? Let’s take a look at the West Papuan situation that the US created.
In 1961 The Dutch assisted West Papua to setup its own government. But in 1962 President JFK signed the infamous “New York Agreement” with President Sukarno to hand West Papua over to Indonesia. The US managed to fool the Dutch and the UN that this was a good idea. And they did it without any consultation with the West Papuans.
The US soon took a disliking to President Sukarno because he would not let them mine West Papua gold so the US arranged a military coup and installed President Suharto who in 1967 signed contracts to allow the US to mine West Papuan gold. It is estimated that the US steels in the order of $8B per year in gold alone from West Papua. Add in all of the oil, gas, etc. and the amount stolen is huge. I’m guessing in excess of $30B [1]per year and the US has been doing this for the past 50 years.
For the US to feed their insatiable greed for West Papuan wealth it has cost the lives of 500,000 West Papuans. And for 50 years West Papua has been pleading for freedom and the US has played dumb to it all this time.
So, on the balance of this I declare that the heart of the US is as evil today as it ever was.

The measure of how much you are really accepted by white America is the same as how they treat West Papuans.

To you African Americans, know the truth; the measure of how much you are really accepted by white America is the same as how they treat West Papuans! And right now the US sells in the order of $1B in arms each year to help Indonesians kill West Papuans and protect US mining interests.
African Americans, I ask you to please remember your past struggles and convince your government to Free West Papua!

  1. The web of lies, corruption and secret deals is slowly being revealed and there are apparently many players with blood on their hands and obscene wealth, illegally gained. The FBI, ASIO, Rio Tinto, the UN & successive Australian governments are also implicated and probably on the take. We welcome any clarity as to how this silent genocide has been able to continue for so long with impunity and probably with considerable complicity by supposedly respectable corporations, governments, organisations and individuals. The scale of the whole appalling saga, along with the terrible loss of untold numbers of lives puts the genocide in West Papua as the worst crime against humanity of the last 50 - 60 years, yet it is ignored and unchallenged. Silence and ignorance are no longer options, for the truth is now out & the perpetrators and those profiting will be held to account. I can't sit back in silence in this day and age and am compelled to shout about these crimes and call on anyone with a conscience to also speak up or take action. From Tamar Perth WA Australia
