On Sunday April 26, 2015, we had our biggest Free West Papua event so far. General Justice of RTRFM radio and musician Paul Cozens arranged a mega, successful gig with some 15 bands and DJs playing. The support from the music industry for West Papua was phenomenal and everybody loved the gig and venue. The Railway Hotel has an excellent beer garden, stage and dance area.
The gig raised AU$2,150.90 for the Free West Papua Campaign in Oxford UK, and also provided funds for the Perth Campaign office through a raffle as well.
I am really glad that so many people have been a part of this event and you all had some good time. I am also going to organize a fundraising event at Los Angeles event venues and hope it will be a successful one, just like yours.
